Following the increased leather demand from its customers, ISA TanTec has continuously invested in increasing the capacity of its existing facilities.
In order to sustain the growth, the group herewith announces a bigger step forward, with the setting up of a second tannery in Vietnam.
ISA TanTec has signed a land purchase Agreement with an Industrial Park for this purpose.
The new tannery TransAsia TanTec will be built on a 60.000 square meter site, located in the Tay Ninh Province, with a close geographical proximity to its existing tannery Saigon TanTec and also to Saigon as business hub in Vietnam.
It will be the fifth tannery of the group.
“The setup of the new tannery will be mirroring the already successful site in Saigon. The replication of the tannery will enable the realization of synergies and has benchmark options including but not limited to the possibility of shared service between both tanneries”, said Uwe Hutzler, CEO of ISA TanTec.
